Update of Assembly Constituencies, Telangana

Hello Datameet!

Thanks for your work.

I have seen that the Assembly constituencies for Telangana are still under erstwhile Andhra Pradesh and the http://psleci.nic.in/ has the maps specific to Telangana. Can anyone guide me on how to get them? Is there a script that I can run and get the data?

You have to take the maps of erstwhile Andhrapradesh and do the right joins in QGIS (Old and new assembly numbers and state), then split the layer.

Hi Surya (and everyone)

Would you mind sharing the latest AC shapefile with me? I see the current AC shapefile is created before 2014 right?

And can I ask what is the source of shapefile?

I am working on a research project that builds development indicators onto AC/PC level, so this would really be helpful!
