lightson - an R package to query night time lights data from Bhuvan and NASA viirs

Hi Everyone,

If you are interested in working with nighttime light data, checkout a new open source R package ‘lightson’: https://lightson.saketlab.org/ 

Supports a) ISRO Bhuvan (2012-24, no auth) and b) NASA VIIRS/Black Marble (global, physical radiance) 

Supports query for custom regions and comes in built with Indian shape files from BharatViz (http://bharatviz.org/).
