Someone has made something partly helpful at - https://votersearch2002.com/apps/web/ - you need to upload the document and it OCRs and allows phonetic searching ... whether the database is built up as people keep searching is not something I was able to figure out (but hopefully it gets easier as people upload and search).

I am wondering if anyone has at least downloaded and put together in some usable (indexed) fomat, if not OCR, the pdfs of all the 'parts' of voter lists of all constituencies from the 2002 electoral roll that has been put out in such awkward format (partwise pdfs)? This is the site for these pieces (site goes down frequently) https://ceo.karnataka.gov.in/voter_list/en   It would be good to put this out in the public domain if made searchable and user friendly.
