Data on Constituency-level Census Measures for Hyderabad

Hi all,

I am looking for a way to map Census 2011 data to the different assembly constituencies in Hyderabad district. However, the wards in the census data do not match those in the delimitation notification. Any suggestions on how I could resolve this would be very helpful.

Hi Shruti,

If you're using GIS, you could do some form of areal weighted reaggregation. This would give you an estimate of the census attributes (for example population) in each ward scaled based on the ratio of the different polygon areas.
