Regarding Consumer Price Index for agricultural laborers and Industrial workers 2011-12 as a base period

Dear Team, 

I hope all are doing well. Could you please share data on the Consumer Price Index from 2011-12 to 2023-24 (2011-12 is considered as a base period) for agricultural workers and industrial workers as a proxy for rural and urban areas respectively?

Hii,

The CPI-IW is available for 2016=100, 2001=100, 1982=100 and 1960=100. You can get 2011 to 2024 data on a 2001 basis. Based on 2016, the data will be available starting in September 2020. You can always make a single series from two separate bases with the use of a link factor. You can even make  2011 a new base for your study.

Similarly, CPI-AL is available for 1986-87=100 and 1960-61=100. You can get data from 2011 to 2024 on CPI-AL (1986-87). again, you can fix the 2011 base year with basic algebraic manipulation.

Get registered at EPWRF demo version. You can even check at CMIE, they may already have linked series.
