Telangana Caste Census: Interactive Dashboard & Research Dataset (Extracted from Official PDF)

Hi everyone,

I've been diving into the Telangana Caste Census data and wanted to make it a bit more accessible for researchers and enthusiasts to explore. Since the official data is mostly tucked away in static PDFs, it can be quite a hurdle to analyze or visualize.

I spent this part of Sunday extracting the district-wise population data and building a little interactive dashboard to help visualize the distribution.

What you can do here:

1. Explore the Map: See how different castes are distributed across Telangana districts with a single click.
2. Check the Big Picture: Use the Treemaps to see population weights across BC/SC/ST/OC categories.
3. Get the Data: I've uploaded the cleaned CSV to the repository so you can skip the PDF-extraction headache and jump straight into your own analysis.
