Hello All,
On 27-07-26 Maharashtra MHT-CET which decides admission to engineering and some science colleges in Maharashtra put out final merit list. Many teachers pointed out discrepancy in Percentile scores of MHT-CET vs HSC and SSC scores for some of the top scorers. I am attaching link to Merit list (4700+pages) and Excel version of first 200 Pages. Please feel free to analyze and coem up with your own ways to identify potential cheating.

While complexities of percentile calculation and trend of ignoring HSC performance are established issues, there seems to be something gravely wrong with too many SSC low scorers getting 99+ percentiles and that too their concentration in first 1000 ranks. A potential for fraud comes from remote desktop software installed on the test center computers. Therefore I think government should provide Center code as additional information in this merit list which would lead to identifying fraudulent centers.
I welcome your input and suggestions for analysing this sheet and seek your help in raising this issue in appropriate manner.
