Hello all,
I recently filed an RTI with the BMRCL requesting data on ridership data at each Namma Metro station in Bengaluru. They responded with a 10MB Excel file that I've cleaned up into CSV and Parquet format. Both the original Excel and the cleaned CSV/Parquet can be found on GitHub: https://github.com/Vonter/bmrcl-ridership-hourly
Along with the data, Aman Bhargava and myself have done some number crunching and got some findings that we've used in a newly published story: https://diagramchasing.fun/2025/how-bangalore-uses-the-metro
