water bodies data required for solving River Encroachment problem in Chennai

Hi friends,

. Please suggest what data we might need for this. I was thinking to start with water bodies data. If you can point me to it it would be great.

Hi Kaushik, here's a link to a live query of water features in Chennai mapped on OSM https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1oo4 . You can export them as a geojson.
