Regarding NSSO Data

Hi everyone, I'm kind of new to this group but I'm already loving it.

I'm a PhD student right now working with NSSO survey data, two rounds-68th and 75th. Using STATA software.

I have a few queries that I thought could be clarified by any of the members here.

1) Is about applying weights

2) Is about whether or not to declare the data of NSSO as survey data to STATA using <svyset> command and if that's mandatory or not. If yes then how to specify the other options like FPC, PSU etc while declaring it.

3)Is about the tests that we can do after running basic regression models, what to do if heteroscedasticity condition for OLS isn't getting fulfilled.

4) What to do about outliers or extreme values

Kindly get back to me if you have worked with NSSO data and are fluent with such basic technicalities. This is my first time with such a big dataset and I have deadlines but labs being closed I have practically no one to help me.
