One Vote's pre-conference on 10 December on technology and elections

On Friday, 10 December, One Vote project is organizing a pre-conference meeting with experts to discuss technological concerns with electronic voting.

The pre-conference event will feature speakers such as Shivam Shankar Singh (co-author of the book “The Art of Conjuring Alternate Realities”), Prof. Subhashis Banerjee, Dr. Subodh Sharma (Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at IIT-Delhi), Dr. Taha Ali (professor at NUST; information security practitioner) and Hina Binte Haq (PhD candidate at NUST; researcher on election security, blockchain and cryptocurrencies issues).The One Vote project - an independent initiative - has released a report on the technological and societal considerations that the Election Commission, policy makers and stakeholders must take into account when introducing electronic voting and blockchain in elections.
