Hi everyone,

Is there any publically accessible source/website that provides a  comprehensive database of all RTIs that have been filed till date ?

It could be paid/unpaid.

I have heard of RTIwala's RTI box but apart from that any ?

Thanking in anticipation,

Best,
Yogada Joshi,
Bangalore

Some departments publish this information. But you can always go to a ministry and inspect them.

I advise caution in publishing this data as a dump, considering RTIs do have a lot of personal requests by some individuals like identity card details and other issues.

Hi,

There is no complete database of RTIs applied all across India as it's scattered across different departments in Centre and State governments.

As Srinivas mentioned there are lots of departments especially under Central government which put responses online. Some state government departments also put in online.  If you want we can compile this list and share with you.

We have been running OnlineRTI.com since 2014 and have received RTIs all across India. We have filed more than 2 lakh RTIs. However many RTIs are of personal nature like delayed IT refund, Marksheet verification, etc which contain personal details.

If you can elaborate on what you plan to do then we can do something to share RTIs without personal details.

Regards,
Pradeep

But Pradeep, according to your site FAQ, you don't have the RTI responses since that's sent to the requestor directly.

Cheers.

Yes, RTI responses go directly to applicants. We go take regular feedback from a small sample set to know the response rate.

We don't have the responses but do have details on the type of questions asked and to which department.
