Hi, I'm looking for block boundaries shapefiles at India level. This request has been made many times in this forum but I couldn't find any any data regarding this. It anyone can tag me to similar conversations, it will be helpful.

I was looking for a particular block from UP. Got it from one of Sreeram's links. Interestingly, I also validated the data of Jharkhand and Arulalan data came out to be correct. So, thanks to both of you again!!

Hello Arulalan,

I am not sure whether the file you uploaded is for CD Blocks or Tehsils. However, I am assuming that it is for Tehsils in Shimla District of Himachal Pradesh. As per the file, Jubbal and Kotkhai are considered as two different blocks. But according to the 2011 census, Jubbal-Kotkhai is the same block. However, Jubbal and Kotkhai are considered as two different Tehsils in the census.

Similarly, there is an issue with Tyuni and Chakrata Tehsils in Dehradun District, Uttarakhand. Can you please let me know where I can find the required information?
