NPD Study at Hasgeek

Hello Datameet members,

Hasgeek is conducting a study on the impact of the proposed Non Personal Data (NPD) framework with architects and practitioners like yourself. The NPD report came out in July-August 2020. The Fifth Elephant conducted 4-5 peer meetings, to understand the impact of NPD on business and tech. Following this, we made a submission to the government, sharing the community's view on the proposed law. 

The NPD study is an outcome of the meetings. It is sponsored by AWS.

We want to interview 5-6 members of the Datameet community to understand your opinions about the proposed NPD framework, and how you see the practice of data sharing - and open data access - being impacted as a result of this new framework. 

Datameet is an important player in the ecosystem. Hence, your perspective is valuable to us. 

The Focussed Group Discussion (FGD) will be held on 5 December, at 12 PM. It will be held online. Those among you who are interested in participating in the FGD and/or have further questions, reply to me on this email. We will share the materials for the study and calendar your participation.
