2011 shapefiles

I'm looking for shapefiles for the 2011 census. 

states, districts, and sub-districts.

Hi, I found a shapefile of 2011 sub-districts, but it's incomplete. It has several sub-districts missing that are actually pertinent to my study. I'm quite new to all this, so I'm wondering if someone has a complete 2011 sub-district .shp or can instruct me on how i might go about manually adding a new district in. I've been noodling around in the attribute file and .csv, but since I don't know really what i'm doing I'm worried I might mess up the file, rather than improve it.

A general word of caution about sub districts level boundaries: it's hard to find even an error free list of subdistricts today, let alone shapes. Doing this for 2011 would definitely be a lot more art than science.

From my knowledge the best reference for subdistricts for 2011 would be the respective district census handbook https://censusindia.gov.in/census.website/data/handbooks

Not sure if there are any shapefiles that match the handbook maps.
