The DataFusion Steering Committee met in Chicago about ten days ago and
laid out several steps that we are planning to take to continue the
development process. We are planning one more meeting in October to
further develop these plans.
Cooperating companies have demonstrated that the communications protocol
is working. We are now focused on expanding the number of companies
that will adopt the DataFusion Protocol, and develop working systems at
interested laundries.
If anyone has any input as to how we can further promote the DataFusion
concept within the laundry industry, please give us your thoughts.

We (CSA) developed a common gateway interface which links all the DF services together so that other webservices can call and exchange information.
One problem we saw was that DF would not be able to interface with SaaS or Cloud Computing platforms without a common gateway to get outside of the LAN
