Job Description:

·         Database Developer to participate in agile development on the N8 project.

·         Design, implement, and contribute to the application development in the Oracle database. Participate in database application tuning and potential core java development.

Complete Description:  Design, implement, and contribute to the application development in the Oracle database. Participate in database application tuning and potential data migration from DB2 to Oracle. 70% - PL/SQL work; 30% - Java & Middleware. Should have knowledge on Middleware technologies like REST, CAMEL, SOAP Services etc. Oracle Form & Reports 4-5 years’ experience (Fast learner which can understand existing system and do modification).

Requirement:

·         Experience with Oracle PL/SQL and SQL. – 8 years

·         Complex SQL queries

·         Stored Procedures

·         Packages

·         Functions

·         Triggers

·         Cursors

·         Experience with Oracle 11g a must, experience with Oracle 12c a plus. – 8 years

·         Experience developing complex business logic in the Oracle database using PL/SQL. – 8 years

·         Experience working on application performance tuning. – 8 years

·         Good working knowledge of AWR and ADDM reports. – 5 years

·         Working familiarity with common server operating systems, both Windows and Linux. – 5 years

·         Agile software development experience: Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming (XP). – 5 years

·         Experience using common source code control tools, especially SVN. – 5 years

·         Must have worked on Core Java and Spring Framework. -2 years

·         Working knowledge on Oracle Forms and reports. -2 years

·         Should be proficient on debugging and creating unit tests in java.

·         Monitor application efficiencies to identify means of enhancing performance.

·         Should also have knowledge about general oracle concepts like Tables Design, Performance tuning, Joins, indexes etc.
