Hi
I have Datafari 3.1 running on Debian 8 running since 2 months

I have only 300000 files, the Solr folder is 1 Gb after indexing the file each days but the pgsql/data folder is 13,5 Gb !!!!

Is it normal or something wrong?

Hello,

Can you tell me more about your Datafari use please :
- what connector do you use in MCF ? file system connector or windows share connector ?
- How did you configure the job for starting each day ? it is scheduled ? If yes in "normal start" or "minimal start" ?
- Did you do a vacuum operation on the postgresql database yet ?

Best regards,

Olivier

I use windows share connector
I have empty the tables (ingeststatus, jobqueue, repohistory) and vaccum the table, then the size comes back like at first installation

what is te difference betwenn Job complete and minimal?

Hi Vg,

You need to set up a regular vacuum of your tables, that will do the job. It is necessary to regularly clean postgre of deleted and modified files.

Cedric
