File access denied

Hi,

I installed version 4.0. I can see the files, but I can no longer open the files. I'm using the ldap connector. This is the message that appears:

"File access denied
The file in ///smb.mppr/file.pdf is not readable.   
It may have been removed, moved or the permissions of the file may be preventing access."

Hello,

Your issue does not seem to be related to Datafari but rather to the browser you use to access Datafari. Indeed the security policy of browsers constantly evolves. I did some tests on latest versions of different browsers for file opening : Edge, IE 11,Firefox and Chrome and I updated the documentation on Datafari in accordance : https://datafari.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DATAFARI/pages/14745633/Browsers+Configuration+to+Open+Files
Could you tell me what browser do you use ?

Hi, I found out what happened. The computer must be in the domain and the user who accessed the datafari must be the same one that logged in the domain.

Hi,

OK thanks for sending your solution.
To be more precise, the user that clicks on the link within the search results, must be allowed to access the fileshare. So being part of the domain does indeed work.
