Installation and JAVA_HOME

Hi,

I'm set the JAVA_HOME variable and no way to install Datafari.

Could you help me ?

Hello,

I have some questions in order to help you :

- Did you run the dpkg command with the root user ?

- Did you check that the JAVA HOME variable was set for all users and not only the current user ? We recommend to set in in /etc/profile.

By the way you need to have Java 8 version for Datafari installation, not Java 10. It is not officially supported in Datafari.

Hello Olivier,

Yes, I tried with root user after adding the JAVA_HOME variable in its .bashrc file.

It's OK now.

I didn't install JRE :

apt-get install openjdk-8-jre -y
