C'ant open orinials DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX - always a download of the file not the preview

Hello,

My browser always makes a download of the file that appears in the search results. Is it possible that you open the file click biem directly and not download?
I want Datafari seeking my Windows share, click on a result and that will open the original file, so I can save the file again.
At the moment I always get a download of the file, so a copy of the file. thank you

Hi Daniel,

my guess it that you are using Chrome. By default, the web browsers have different behaviors: Firefox and IE directly open documents from the url, whereas Chrome downloads it. So if you are using Chrome, it's an issue that can probably be sorted out by configuring your chrome browser.

Hi,

It all works now! I had an installation in Windows before. I have installed it now in Debian. In the Datafari.Propreties file I have set ALLOWLOCALFILEREADING = TRUE and have inserted the IP address from the server into the Safe Pages of the IE.
