Hi Sebastian and Ed (and list members who may be in the same boat),

It appears as though the certificate for mds.datacite.org has recently
changed (which would be the cause of the issue i told you about
previously Sebastian). For one of our minting applications, we use
ColdFusion to make the HTTP POST call to the datacite api, but
ColdFusion requires a valid certificate to make https connections.
After grabbing the new certificate and importing it into the ColdFusion
keystore everything worked fine again.

Does the certificate get updated regularly? If so, do you announce this
anywhere, and if not, could you so we can update ColdFusion.

Best regards,
michael

The certificate expires every year so it will be renew every year. Next update May/June 2013.
