Jonathan Gathman is a Genius in mathematics and music theory. He
composes and performs in many venues, and is president of a computer
company in Virginia. Some of his performances I have had the pleasure
of
attending..they were great!

So, when he sent this to me, I had to send it on to you. It reminds me
of the movie "Big.", where Hanks and Loggia play on a giant keyboard,
but this is several magnitudes of order beyond that concept.

So, open and enjoy, as I have several times...I am going to keep
this..it's inspiring.

Y'all know it's a cold day in August when I actually send a link I've
been forwarded from the Internet, but this one is too much fun. Delete
if you like, or enjoy.

There is probably a really easy way to take a hatch from an acad user
and convert it - but I can't find it.
The files are.PAT files

DataCad Support page
http://datacad.com/download/frame.htm

Miscellaneous

* ACADPat2DCADPat.ZIP (195KB, 10/05/01)
<http://datacad.com/support/down/acadpat2dcadpat.zip>
AutoCAD Hatch Pattern to DataCAD Hatch Pattern Conversion Program

Then if you put the .pat file in the hatch directory, I think it will
auto convert to .dhp

Subject: DBUG> Energy code conformance in altered existing buildings

dbuggers:

What is anyone's experience with energy code conformance in altering
an
existing building? I have a client who wants to convert an abandoned
bowling
alley into a funeral home. The building probably dates back to the
70's, with
cmu exterior walls single wythe and very likely minimal insulation
over the
roof deck.

This is Ohio Code which is basically ICC with tweaks. The Code says
alterations must conform to the current code. This is not possible
for energy
conformance in this building. Is there an exception in the energy
programs?

I have a call in to the plan reviewer for the City of Dayton where
the
project is located, but I am not local there and in 40 years I have
never had a
plan reviewer return my call if I am not local.

Any help would be appreciated.
