I wish that Alt-I set the Ignore Clip Cube setting, based on the entity 
you select. In other words, if I Alt-I on ParaText or a Smart Arrow that 
is set to Ignore Clip Cubes, I would like it to be set the same for the 
next text / arrow I create.

One can always customize Alt-* commands. Several of mine are. You probably have some, too. Just write the code.

I am still using Datacad 12 for all sorts of thing but lately when I render the Image with raytrace and it shows the image rendered when I go to save the image the shading dissapears. Is this a known Bug??? 

I'm 77 now and just keep my hand in

No, but I bet you forgot to tick the raytrace box at bottom right of the 
save dialogue box. That is the sort of thing that old farts miss. 

This is assuming you are referring to O2C, and that facility is is 
indeed available in V12.
