DBUG> Hardlock for DCAD11

This is kind of BS, but I contacted DCAD regarding a USB hardlock for DCAD11 and was told that I had to upgrade to 14.  They do not have the USB dongles any longer.

 

I got a new computer and of course they no longer have printer ports to attach my old dongle to.

 

Unless anyone else has a suggestion, I guess that I will need to try and get a I/O card with a parallel port.  Upgrading is not a option at this point.

I don't know why you would consider it BS. They no longer sell 11 and
haven't for several years, so why would think they would still have v11
dongles. And they no longer sell v14, which is the only version they are
currently selling, with a dongle and they don't have a relationship with
the company that produces the dongles, I doubt they can ger more dongles
from them either. If you want a dongle with v14 they can rework an old
dongle that you send in to work with v14. But I believe that is the only
way you can get a dongle version of DCAD now.

That all sounds perfectly logical to me. From time to time I see people
who are wanting an update to an old version. It is already out there, it
is called the new version.
