I thought that drawing white lines and text over bitmaps and dark
fills was covered long ago when bitmaps and/or pen tables first came
to be. Any color that is mapped where R/G/B = 255/255/255 is white
which includes colors 1 and 30 using the default "Drawing Palette".
You can check this by going to the Tools drop down, select Color
Palettes then select colors 0 and 30. They will match unless you are
using a custom palette. By default, white (RGB=255/255/255) will
print black. If you want a very light grey (RGB=238/238/238), you
can use color 29.
But if you want a really close white, you need to change one of the
RGB values to a value less than 255. In the example below, I chose
to use color 254 and map it to RGB=254/254/254 (I have been using
this pen table for years until I retired a few years ago). But,
255/255/254 mapped to the color of your choosing will work as well.
(All of the above using a black background screen, white screens are
slightly different.)
