Hello All,
Since upgrading to the most recent version (20.03.00.04) my drawings crash when I try to use ParaText.  It’s seems to be ok when I click the ParaText button but the drawing crashes as soon as I click on the screen where I intend to place the text.  I am left with the ParaText window showing on the DataCAD opening screen.  I’ve checked several of my old drawings that have ParaText on them already and have the same result when trying to add new text.  Have any others had this occur?
Thanks,
Joe Deppe

Hi Joe,

Are you using a keyboard shortcut to get to the ParaText menu?  If so, what is that shortcut code?

That is the best solution, for sure!

Neil and Forum,
I spoke with Clay at DataCAD.  He was perplexed but suggested that I upgrade to version 21 (Something that I had overlooked) since I’m a subscriber, rather than wasting time trying to figure out what was causing the crash.  My problem is solved.  Thank you DataCAD and the Forum for always being here when needed!
