DataCAD displaying Chinese

I have a remote project in Beijing, a real one-off. I will send them my typical drawings noted up in English, which should be plain enough that someone there can understand or translate. But I also include a block of text for outline specs done in Word which I paste in. I Have a translation program, G4T4, which in one keystroke converts everything into Chinese, which I'll have someone here review for accuracy. 

My problem is that (my) DataCAD does not have a Chinese font. Is there a way to convert & import it as something other than a .doc file - too bad there's no way to import .pdf, or is there? Or is there a Chinese font available?

An interesting side note, I had gotten the base CAD file from them with the name in Chinese with the .dwg extension in our alphabet. It would not load until I changed the name into our characters.
