Hi Lanny,

>>How can I get another copy of* "Identify-Set All"*. Its gone

It should be a built-in DataCAD function (to all except LT versions),
it's not an add-on macro.

Check to see if the menu function is still there (Identify, pick
something, then look for the Set All function at S8). If it is, then
all you are really missing is the keyboard shortcut in the DCADWIN.MCR
file:

I^I^$^S8^S0^

If the function itself is missing, then it must be some type of
configuration file issue that DATACAD may have to help you fix.

Copy it from another computer's dcadwin.mcr file.
These are easy to write, they are just the Function Key hits with ^ as
separators.

Thanks, Evan. The computer in question is using V11. Does not seem
to be included.

Check to see if the menu function is still there (Identify, pick something, then look for the Set All function at S8). If it is, then all you are really missing is the keyboard shortcut in the DCADWIN.MCR file:

If you add a $ to the end of that then all you do is hover the cursor over the entity to match and press the keyboard key I and you auto select the entity as well as match it.

SPIRIT went a step further so not only does the entity get matched it also invokes the menu that was used to create that entity.  This virtually eliminates the need to use menus.  An example.  Lets say you have a vertical dimension in the drawing and you wish to create another the same at a later stage.  All you do is click on that dimension - you have matched it as well as invoked the menu that was used to create it and your ready to create the new dimension.  This would also be a great feature to add to DataCAD.

Check if you only have one layer in the job file, if that is the case the identify set all function is not available because there is no layer to change to I assume.
