Good Day All

This has happened once before at the beginning of 2018.  I know someone
gave me the solution, but I can not find it.

Please could someone help me.

In the my current drawing whenever I move an entity to a different layer
or cut and paste, the moved entity take on the colour of the layer that
it was moved to, irrespective of the colour of the moved object.

Its not a train smash, but very annoying and a time waste.

I do not know what I have done to make it act in such a fashion.

Thanks

Mike,

There's a button in the Move, To Layer menu, "Layer Color". Toggle it
off and the problem will go away.  It comes in handy sometimes, but it
doesn't reset to off by itself, so lurks there waiting for you to forget
to change it next time you get to that menu.

Hi Mike,

When you are in the Move / To Layer menu after you select the
destination layer, you can toggle S2 Layer Color off (or on).

If you have line type set to By Layer, or line spacing set to By Layer
(both these are in the Layer Manager), then you can toggle those on or
off, as well.

Gee, I didn't know Datacad could do that! I t must surely be one of
those buttons that you never know about until you hit it by mistake.
