Previously, I could install from master, but I got this scary message.

$ pip3 install .

...

error: file '/tmp/pip-oeg5f909-build/bin/bubbles' does not exist

Cleaning up...
Command /usr/bin/python -c "import setuptools, tokenize;__file__='/tmp/pip-oeg5f909-build/setup.py';exec(compile(getattr(tokenize, 'open', open)(__file__).read().replace('\r\n', '\n'), __file__, 'exec'))" install --record /tmp/pip-1_5m81cj-record/install-record.txt --single-version-externally-managed --compile failed with error code 1 in /tmp/pip-oeg5f909-build

It works now that I renamed a file.
