Job Description:

• 6+ years of experience in testing and automation
• Experience in headless and RESTful services testing automation using Java based open source tools
• Strong communication skills
• Strong creative solutioning skills
• Strong thought leadership
• Should have experience with QA and Automation best practices
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with team while juggling multiple priorities
• Strong knowledge of QA Methodologies and ability to assist with creation of Test Plans, Test Cases and Processes
• Hands on experience with Spring boot & microservices architecture
• Proficient in Java 8 and Spring Framework
• Hands on experience in developing/automating RESTful API with Rest Assured
• Expert in automation using TestNG framework
• Experience with various testing methodologies and strategies: Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, etc
• Experience with Gherkin for supporting BDD Testing
• Experience using Jira and Q-Test
• Expert in automation testing using Cucumber with Serenity (Serenity nice to have)
• Experience in using WireMock for stubbing API endpoints in support of testing RESTful services
• Experience with Junit and Mockito
• Experience in contract driven testing for Rest API
• Experience with reading and leveraging Swagger documents
• Experience with Postman for injection testing
• Experience on messaging with Kafka / RabbitMQ (RabbitMQ nice to have)
• Experience on MySQL / Oracle / RDBMS / NoSQL
• Experience with SQL queries
• Experience with AWS cloud features/technology
• Experience with GIT / GITLab
• Experience supporting developing and testing unit tests leveraging JUnit
• Experience reading and generating logs
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum and/or KANBAN environment
• Experience with scrum ceremonies and estimation of work
• Experience with documenting results, bug reports, and product wikis, etc
• Comfortable with changing requirements
