Dear All,
I hope this message finds you well. I am currently working on my research and have prepared a questionnaire that includes 5 variables with 13 sub-variables. Based on previous studies, it is recommended to keep at least 3 statements under each sub-variable.
However, if I follow this approach, the total number of statements comes to 64 (as I have 2 sections, each containing 32 statements), which makes the questionnaire quite lengthy.
My concern is: What if I include only 2 statements under each sub-variable instead of 3? Will this affect the reliability/validity of the study, or would it still be acceptable? I would greatly appreciate your suggestions and guidance on this matter.
Thank you very much for your time and support.
