As part of my doctoral research, I am conducting a survey on the topic “ Consumer behavior toward Electric Vehicle Adoption: An Integrated Framework of Micro, Macro, and Product-Technology Perspectives.” The purpose of this study is to examine the Micro Level Determinants (Electric Vehicle Exposure, Social Network, Societal Demography, Psychological factors), Macro Level Determinants (Infrastructure, Government Policies, Air Pollution), and Product & Technology Level Determinants (Purchase Costs, Product Effectiveness, Technical Effectiveness) of Electric Vehicle Adoption (Statements mentioned in Sections A, B, C, and D successively) in Indian perspectives. The findings will enable Indian automotive organizations to develop more strategies and policies for consumer-friendly EV adoption. The study shall contribute empirically grounded insights to the existing literature on the EV industry, drawing from the existing research literature.
