Dear Members

Kindly suggest the relevance and utility of Shapiro–Wilk and
Kolmogorov–Smirnov test of normality for data sets with n> 400.

Is it required or it becomes too sensitive with large sample size? And on
the basis of skewness and kurtosis normality can be ascertained?

If so kindly provide the references for the same.

The Shapiro test is used for small samples (n<50).
The one-sample KS test can be used for the large samples.

Skewness and Kurtosis are no tests, they give rough idea about normality.
