Respected Sir and Dear Members,
As part of the research community, you've heard us talk about this editorial and research series. The first module starts in a week's time and the early bird fee is available only until 24 September.
Most of us have had a paper desk-rejected and never quite understood why. This series is our answer to that. Over three modules, you'll hear from the editors who make those decisions, from a senior researcher on getting proposals funded, and from a review panel who will give feedback on your own papers or ideas
The Editor's Room | 28–30 September
- Dr Varsha Jain (Co-Editor-in-Chief, Journal of Consumer Behaviour) on AI and academic publishing
- Prof Weng Marc Lim (Editor-in-Chief, Global Business & Organizational Excellence) on turning a research topic into a publishable manuscript
- Dr Sudhir Rana (Editor-in-Chief, FIIB Business Review and Review of Management Literature) on how editorial decisions are made
The Scholars' Room | 6–7 October
Dr Shagufa Kapadia (Professor Emeritus, M.S. University of Baroda) on writing research proposals and finding funding: ICSSR, ANRF and UGC.
The Reviewers' Room | 15–16 October
Selected participants present their work and receive structured feedback from Dr Tathagata Ghosh, Dr Leena Kaushal, an Associate Professor from IIM, and Dr Shalini Sahni.
All sessions run live online, 7:00–9:00 PM IST.
