Hello everyone,
I am a researcher in the field of HRM and have been trying to publish in Scopus-indexed journals for an year already but facing rejections continuously. I am struggling to understand where exactly I need improvement — whether in research design, writing style, journal selection , methodology etc.
I genuinely want to learn and improve my publication skills. If any experienced researcher can guide me, mentor me, or collaborate for quality research work, I would be very grateful.
Dear Dr. Aashima Mittal,
I can understand your concern because publishing in Scopus-indexed journals requires not only good research work but also proper alignment with journal expectations. Many times, papers get rejected due to issues related to paper structure, research gap clarity, methodology, journal scope mismatch, formatting, or not following author guidelines properly.
Before submitting any paper, it is very important to carefully check the journal guidelines, recent published papers, referencing style, plagiarism level, and whether the study is problem-based and contributes something new to the literature.
You may also try getting your manuscript reviewed by experienced researchers before submission, as external feedback helps identify weak areas in advance. Continuous improvement in writing style and research design definitely increases publication chances.
Wishing you success in your research journey.
With best regards,
Dr. Sonia Jindal
