List of Tables or Figures in APA 7th Edition

Hi everyone,

In APA 7th edition, rules for caption for tables and figure have changed. For a table caption it look like:

Table 1.1

HTMT values

It is just an example. However, when we make list of tables for the document, it shows only the first line (i.e. Table 1.1). Please advise how can my list of table can show both lines.

Thank you Dr. Neeraj for your help. This is indeed useful. However, APA 7th edition offers a bit different format for Tab/Fig caption. eg a table caption in APA 7 looks as under:

Table 1.1 (bold), followed by double line space.

ANOVA (italics)

When we insert a list of tables, it shows only the first part of the caption i.e. Table 1.1. It does not show ANOVA.

 Please advise if there is any remedy.
