Dear Dr. Neeraj sir and colleagues,
Greetings of the day,

I did MICOM to check gender and age moderation (BINARY).
1) The results show partial measurement invariance for gender. After bootstrapping MGA which results to check under path coefficient- bootstrap MGA or bootstrapping results (My data is non normal).
2) For age it shows full measurement invariance. Now , what to report in results. I don't have to do MGA.

Please guide me sir.

With regards

Dear Sachin,

MICOM is required only if you want to run MGA, so for age you don't need to report the results as you are not running MGA for it.

In MGA results, the bootstrap MGA results show the difference between the path coefficients in the two groups (Male and Female in case of Gender) and the significance of this difference.

On the other hand, the bootstrapping results give the actual coefficients and their significance for the two groups separately.

Both these results are to be reported usually. But if there is a space constraint due to journal word limits then Bootstrap MGA results must be reported.

Hope this helps.

Best,
Anubhuti Dwivedi
