Ideas for the objectives of the thesis for PhD

Dear members,

Myself Prateek Shukla working as a Biostatistician in Christian Medical College, Ludhiana. I have enrolled for a PhD and currently in the process of the course work. I want a few suggestions from members regarding the objectives of my thesis. Since, I am working in the hospital, therefore, I have decided to work in clinical data. 

My tentative topic which I have decided is to assess the heterogeneity in the clinical data which will be the observational study. I have decided a few objectives that need to be worked on but I need more suggestions from the members which will help me in my thesis work.

Any suggestions or feedback is more than welcome.

Most of the members in this Google group belong to the area of social sciences viz management, commerce, economics, psychology, etc and probably a few members will have knowledge of working on clinical data.

But we can explore it with you.

Your obj is to check the heterogeneity in the clinical data

It means you'll collect the clinical data and check the heterogeneity and probably the reasons why they are different?

Is that correct?
