how to measure awareness

Greetings to everyone.

Can you tell me, how to analyze and interpret the level of awareness about the functioning of SHGs? I used the Likert 5-point scale. is it a good way (Likert scale) to measure the level of awareness?

Dear Monika

If the objective is just to measure the awareness level then you should compute the mean of each statement.

If 1-Very Less aware and 5-Highly aware then the mean score>3 indicates that on an avg respondents are aware of the aspect asked in that statement.

Hi Monika

There are 3 types of awareness, TOM (Top of Mind), Spontaneous and Aided. If some cases this level of awareness measurement is also used in consumer research to evaluate Quality of awareness
