One of my scholars is facing a problem of Singular Matrix while conducting data analysis. Kindly, provide insights about the possible solutions to the problem.

Here r some quick checks:

1. This problem may come when sample size is <30. Hence need to collect more data and rerun.

2. Responses to one or more indicators pertaining to a construct are same i.e. either all 1s or 2s....or 5s. Hence need to take step like remove the indicator or take fresh data from the respondent

3. There is no variance between the responses of two indicators meaning these two indicators are telling the same thing. In such a situation one indicator need to be deleted or merged and rerun. This situation is called multicollinerity

I hope the issue should be resolved by these steps since I hv experienced this problem.
