Request to participate in filling the Research Questionnaire

Dear Members

My name is Krishnakumar and I am a PhD scholar at the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. I am studying the challenges of caregivers of the elderly and for that I am conducting a small survey in order to understand the status of caregiving for the aged in the district.

If you are a person taking care of an elderly (a person above 60 years) who is having any sort of illness which makes him in need of a person to take care of his daily needs, you are an eligible respondent for this study.

If you can spare a few minutes of your valuable time, it can be a great help for me to understand the challenges that caregivers may face in taking care of their elderly relatives. Whatever information you will be providing will be strictly confidential and it will not be shown to other persons.

Hi Sir

Thank you for sharing the questionnaire to collect inputs. I am curious to know why few questions like religion/caste were added or required for this study. 

Kindly enlighten me on this.

Thank you so much for your comments.

On reviewing the literature, the demographic factors, including one's caste and religion has been found to be playing a role in determining the quality of life of an individual, and caregivers in the context of my study. And this can be especially significant in a country like India which is culturally diverse.
