Dear Friends

After much deliberation, our team has decided to organize the OFFLINE workshop at NIT Kurukshetra.
This decision was taken on the basis of our experience of the three OFFLINE workshops we conducted in the last 2 years on our campus. In these three workshops, we worked on this schedule
  • Study time 9:30 am to 4:30 pm
  • Kurukshetra tourist places visit (on alternate days) 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm
  • Dinner 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm
  • Night sessions 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm (for the interested participants)
  • Participations informal discussion till they are comfortable
In this workshop too, I have decided to have night sessions and the topics chosen are R-Studio and Python. Of course, these sessions will be for interested participants only.

Friends, Residential workshops operate at altogether different frequency levels and in just 5 days, it seems that we are together for a month. In such residential workshops, we learn not only from the resource persons but also from the fellow participants.

We know that if we allow online participants, we will get the break even very fast but that is not the primary motive for organizing this workshop. We aim to have thorough discussions, extensive learning and hands-on experience.

Hope this clarifies why we chose to have an OFFLINE workshop only.

Best wishes
Neeraj

Dear Neeraj Sir,
Thank you for sharing the Workshop brochure.
As an OBHR faculty, I am keen to learn about panel data analysis and would like to participate in the workshop. However, I noticed that the first day of the workshop is focused on the finance domain. Could you please provide your valuable insights on how this workshop would be beneficial for someone in the OBHR domain like myself?

Thanks and Sincere Regards,
Chandan

Dr. Medatwal,

The first day of the workshop helps to create the foundation for the rest of the sessions. Since it is based on finance theories and data extraction, it will ameliorate to some extent the participants belonging to HR/OB domain in extracting the data from various sources.

Regards

Dear Professor,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my interest in the upcoming workshop. As a learner residing outside of India, I believe that conducting the workshop online would provide significant advantages, especially given that advanced panel data is not readily available on platforms like YouTube. An online format would facilitate broader participation, allowing individuals like myself to benefit from the valuable insights and knowledge shared during the sessions without the constraints of geographical boundaries.

Thank you for considering this suggestion. I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
DD Pathak

Dear Pathak ji
We understand your point but this time we have taken all permissions and made all arrangements for the offline workshop only. We will try to consider your request for the subsequent workshops.
