Greetings,

I am currently conducting research for my study titled “Indian Investors’ Perspectives on Green Bonds” under the supervision of Dr. Bateshwar Singh, Dean, Head & Associate Professor, Department of Commerce and Financial Studies, Central University of Jharkhand.

I would be truly grateful if you could spare 10–15 minutes to complete this questionnaire.

Your insights will significantly contribute to the quality and depth of my research.

Hello Megha,

I shared the questionnaire within my circle and one common feedback that I get is that there is very little information in the retail investor community on "green bonds" per se. While some folks have heard the term, the common notion is that it's a fad and in general, there is very little awareness on what it is and how it differs from other investment instruments. Hence, the participation level is abysmally low. My suggestion is to include questions related to this information in your questionnaire.

Lastly, unless you are also researching institutional investors (DIIs/ Mutual Funds), I suggest to qualify the word "investors" with "retail investors" in title since there are many categories within the investor personas of investment ecosystem (FII, DII, HNIs, UHNIs etc.). All these categories think, work and strategise very differently because of their understanding of risk to reward ratios for various investment instruments and how they fit in the portfolio.

Good luck!!!

Thanks,
Poonam
