If your view point is fixed on the effect of demonetization on black money then yes , its a good way curb the flow of black money in economy but only for the short run since the it will recover soon . Demonetization create a situation where there will be a sharp decline in the flow of cash in both the reported and the shadow or black money due to crash crunch thus restrict the flow of black money .But if your view point are diversified or willing to allow your views to evolve.
