Need Help with Moderation Analysis in SmartPLS 4

Good afternoon Neeraj sir and Dear Scholars,

I need some help with moderation analysis in SmartPLS 4. I have three moderators: Age, Income, and Education Level.

I tried both Interaction Term Moderation and Multi-Group Analysis (MGA). I created different groups (two and three groups), deleted indicators....

 and tried several solutions.

However:

• In Interaction Term Moderation, SmartPLS shows NaN instead of a numerical result.
• In Permutation MGA, I get a Singular Matrix error only for Age. Income and Education work properly.
• Bootstrap MGA works properly for all three moderators, including Age.

My question is: What could be causing these problems, especially with Age? Is it acceptable to use only Bootstrap MGA for Age if Permutation MGA/MICOM cannot be performed? Would the analysis be incomplete or incorrect without MICOM/Permutation MGA?

Dear Kamila

SmartPLS uses a t/z-test for comparing two categories; therefore, we can only compare only 2 categories at a time.

Although the interface shows the option to use checkboxes (multiple select), the results will only show comparisons between two categories.

Plz share the frequency table of all your moderators.
