Thank you for accepting my invitation to write a chapter for the book project "Through Your Eyes - Research and New Perspectives on Empathy."

I am happy to welcome you onboard to this book project and am excited about our first collaboration!

I want to introduce myself briefly. My name is Dorian Salatic, and I will be your Publishing Process Manager (imagine me as your dedicated publishing assistant), here to support you through every step of the publishing process.

YOUR FIRST STEP:

If you have not already done so, please submit your chapter proposal by providing:

- a tentative chapter title
- keywords
- short topic description (100 - 150 words)

You can do that via your Author Panel: https://publish.intechopen.com/s/author-panel?c__uiState=task&c__chapterId=a093Y00001h6n8bQAA

Your Author Panel (Manuscript Tracking System) will be your online tool to guide you through the publishing process and where you will submit your work.

As soon as you submit your proposal, your proposal will then be sent to our Academic Editor, Dr. Sara Ventura, for review. You can expect your review results very soon after submission.

If your proposal is accepted by Dr. Sara Ventura, I will be in touch right away with details on the full chapter submission process.

There were some discussions both in favour of and against that particular publisher. But please ask yourself, have you used any of their publication in your work, or have they published substantial research that you are aware of? In my case, that will be a resounding no.
