Respected Sir/ Madam,

Regarding SLR, I'm using Scopus database for my research. So, my question is that, as I'm using only Scopus, which has collection from all major journals, do I require to search individual journal databases also. And whether depending on one database is fine, or i need to search other databases like Web of Science for conducting a good research.

Thank you.
Yours sincerely
Aritra

Dear,
This is depend on the scope and the quality of the your paper. You can use WoS along with the Scopus or ABDC indexed journals to enhance the quality of your work

The members of this group are expected to follow the following Protocols:
1. Please search previous posts in the group before posting the question.
2. Don't write the query in someone's post. Always use the option of New topic for the new question. You can do this by writing to dataanaly...@googlegroups.com
3. It’s better to give a proper subject to your post/query. It'll help others while searching.
4. Never write Open-ended queries. This group intends to help research scholars, NOT TO WORK FOR THEM.
5. Never write words like URGENT in your posts. People will help when they are free.
6. Never upload any information about National Seminars/Conferences. Send such information
in personal emails and feel free to share any RESEARCH-related information.
7. No Happy New Year, Happy Diwali, Happy Holi, Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary, etc. allowed in this group.
8. Asking or sharing Research Papers is NOT ALLOWED.
9. You can share your questionnaire only once.

Dear mam, many authors have published SLR using articles from the indexed journals found in Scopus, which lists a greater number of journals than WoS. Therefore, relying mainly on Scopus to conduct a systematic literature review may yield a very long list.
Also, most of the author export lists from well-established bibliographic databases, both WoS and Scopus, for wider coverage and justification (to not skip any article related to the topic).
Always justify the reason for the selection of a particular database (such type of question can be raised).

For more information, kindly refer to Paul and Criado (2020).

Scopus Indexing is considered relatively better than the others in research world to the effect that Scopus Indexed Journals are considered to meet the best contemporary checks of quality. If you go by this rationale then Scopus should be sufficient. But you can increase the breadth of your research by considering other indices too.

Dear arita
Here I am attaching a paper brifing a comparison between the scopus and wos. Please go through it. Even if you are chosing scopus database only, you can put the reference of this paper also. This is one paper only..you can search some related papers also. This will help why using Scopus database is significant enough.
