About the Program
This course will focus on usual statistical challenges a researcher encounters. For instance, how do I describe my data? Which statistical test should I use? what are some of the issues I need to look for while using a test? And finally, how actually should I run it in SPSS? Main contents will include:
- Data types with tips on how to choose the appropriate statistical test
- Introduction to SPSS, its interface and common operations
- Hypothesis testing and p-value dynamics
- Descriptive statistics and graphs using SPSS
- Comparing means (full range of t-tests, and ANOVA in SPSS
- Chi-squared, correlation and regression analyses in SPSS
Objectives of the Course:
· To understand the basics of SPSS and its application in research work.
· To give hands on experience in statistical techniques through SPSS.
· To interpret the results of the output based on the statistical analysis using SPSS.
